In the latest ranking results of the ISC Institute for 2021, based on the number of citations to researchers’ articles, the names of Professors Dr. Mahmoud Fotouhi Firouzabad, Dr. Mehdi Ehsan, the late Dr. Ali-Mohammad Ranjbar, Dr. Amir Safdarian, Dr. Hossein Mokhtari, and Dr. Mohammad-Ali Maddah-Ali were listed among the top 1% of the most cited researchers1. The ISC World University Rankings, one of the ranking systems, was first conducted in 2018 by the ISC ranking group based on 10 years of experience in ranking universities, aiming to compare the scientific progress and performance of universities in the Islamic world and globally.
