Electrical Engineering Committee: Missions and Objectives
The Committee of Electrical Engineering is one of the specialized committees within the Alumni Association of Sharif University of Technology. Its executive members are elected by the graduates of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering for a term of two years. In the current term, the committee has selected the following mission and objectives, striving to achieve them:
Missions:
To establish and strengthen connections between alumni, students, and the university through organized voluntary activities in the realms of science, culture, and society. The aim is to enhance the knowledge and skills of members, promote the position and interests of the university, and contribute to the higher education community by providing mutual services. Our goal is to create diverse avenues for alumni to connect with the university and each other, considering members' interests and experiences through organized programs within scientific, cultural, and social activity groups and committees.
Objectives and Functions:
• Launch necessary media platforms (website, newsletters, etc.) to establish and enhance communication between alumni and the faculty. Identify the scientific and managerial skills of members and guide them to the necessary national centers.
• Create a platform for the transfer of the industry's scientific and technical needs to the faculty and facilitate joint projects to strengthen the industry-university relationship.
• Collaborate with the faculty's management and professors to enhance the quality of educational and research programs.
• Provide guidance to students and graduates for career placement and employment in the country's scientific and industrial centers.
• Organize conferences, seminars, and scientific, cultural, and social gatherings.
• Establish and update a database of the graduates of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering.
• Attract and guide public and industrial contributions to meet the needs of the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Sharif University of Technology.
