This department offers advanced studies in specialized areas such as integrated circuit electronics, micro and nano electronics, digital electronic systems, power systems, power electronics, and electric machines, as well as telecommunications systems, field and wave telecommunications, secure communications and encryption, control, and bioelectronics.
The primary responsibility of this department's vice presidency in the realm of postgraduate education is to enhance the quality and oversee the proper execution of master's and doctoral programs. Determining the capacity and admission criteria for postgraduate students, approving master's and doctoral projects, alongside monitoring their progress and determining defense procedures, are among its principal duties, in addition to the oversight of the Postgraduate Studies Council of the department, composed of the head, the vice president for postgraduate studies, and the educational group managers.
