At the 33rd National Ceremony Honoring Outstanding University Faculty Members, Dr. Shahriyar Kaboli, Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, was recognized among the country’s 28 distinguished faculty members.

The 33rd National Ceremony Honoring Outstanding University Faculty Members was held today at the Imam Khomeini Complex of Iran University of Science and Technology in the presence of Dr. Hossein Simayi Saraf, Minister of Science, Research and Technology, Dr. Fatemeh Mohajerani, Government Spokesperson, and a number of university officials and faculty members. During the ceremony, 28 distinguished faculty members from across the country were honored.
Among the selected faculty members, Dr. Shahriyar Kaboli, Professor at the Department of Electrical Engineering, was recognized as a National Distinguished Faculty Member. Dr. Mehdi Behzad, Professor at the Department of Mechanical Engineering, and Dr. Alireza Zarei, Associate Professor at the Department of Mathematical Sciences, were also among the honorees from Sharif University of Technology.
According to the Ministry of Science, Research and Technology, nominees were evaluated across five disciplinary categories, including basic sciences, humanities, engineering, veterinary sciences, and art and architecture. In total, 117 faculty dossiers from 40 universities and research institutions were reviewed, resulting in the selection of 28 faculty members as National Distinguished Faculty Members.
The Department of Electrical Engineering congratulates Dr. Shahriyar Kaboli on this distinguished achievement and wishes him continued success in his academic and educational endeavors.
