The goal of this course is to familiarize students with electronic RF circuits, their analysis, design, and their application in communication systems.

  • Mixers, nonlinear circuits, mixer gain for the fundamentals & harmonics
  • Amplitude detectors and modulators
  • Frequency detectors and modulators
  • Phases locked loops
  • QAM modulators & demodulators
  • Transmission Lines & S-Parameters
  • Low noise amplifier design
  • RF power amplifiers
